Michelle Letowska, artist and former student of Glasgow School of Art, discusses her article on the ‘Art of Amateurism’: “To be professional suggests having serious intentions […] being an amateur does not have to mean taking ones ideas or artwork less seriously. Being an amateur allows one to enjoy the act of doing as much as, if not more than, the outcome”.
